doesn't the white one looks like a tooth ???
*** this pattern seems long, but it’s because it’s written in plain English and all detailed. You also get 2 alternate ways of knitting it : all in one go, or each part separately. You’ll also find the instructions for the optional “arms” for the Kitty ***
Material :
Small ball of any yarn (approx 50 grams / 70 yards) and needles to match.
Prototypes were made with 6 mm (US10) needles and
Red Heart Symphony yarn
Bernat Softee Chunky
Note : One has to know how to knit, cast on, decrease, increase, cast off and sew. Basic embroidery skills are best, but optional.
* Cast on 4 stitches loosely
Knit in garter stitch (knit all rows) until you have 7 ridges or 14 rows *
Leave on needle and break yarn
Repeat from * to * for 2nd paw and DO NOT break yarn.
Cast on additional 2 stitches
Knit in one go the 2 stitches, plus the 4 stitches of 2nd paw, then add 2 stitches; join and knit the 4 stitches of the 1st paw and add 2 stitches again. At then end of this row, you have 14 stitches : 2 st before, between, and after the paws.

Knit 1 stitch, knit 2 together twice, knit 4 stitches, knit 2 together twice, knit 1 stitch (10 stitches remain)

OR replace instructions between [] to make optional arms : cast on 7 stitches on either side of next 2 rows and knit 6 rows; bind off 9 stitches on next to rows and knit 4 rows

Cast off 2 stitches, knit 4, turn, knit 4, turn, knit 4, turn… etc… until 7 ridges. Cast off those 4 stitches and break yarn.

Right sides facing, sew sides of head [arms] and legs, leaving the space between legs open for stuffing.

Cast off
Sew the legs [and arms sticking out from both sides] in place, according to the picture above.
Right sides facing, sew around body, head , arms and legs, leaving the space between legs open for stuffing.
Turn inside out.
Sew the ears by closing a little triangle on both corners of head.
Embroider and enjoy !
Stuff.

*** Ce patron PEUT SEMBLER LONG, mais c'est qu'il est ECRIT EN DETAILS. Vous avez aussi deux facons de le tricoter : toute d'une traite ou en parties separees. Vous trouverez aussi les instructions optionnelles pour ajouter des bras a Chaton.***
Materiel :
Petite quantite de laine ou fil au choix, assez gros (approx 50 grams / 70 yards) et les aiguilles assorties.
Les prototypes ont ete tricotes avec des aiguilles 6 mm (US10) et

Note : Pour reussir ce patron, il faut savoir tricoter a l'endroit, augmenter, diminuer, coudre et broder (optionnel).
* Monter 4 mailles lachement
Tricoter en point mousse (toujours endroit) jusqu'a ce qu'on ait 14 rangs *
Laisser sur l'aiguille et briser le fil
Repeter de * a * pour la deuxieme patte mais ne brisez pas le fil cette fois.
Monter 2 mailles additionnelles
Tricoter d'une traite les 2 mailles, puis les 4 mailles de la 2e patte, puis ajouter encore 2 mailles; joindre et tricoter les 4 mailles de la 1ere patte et ajouter encore 2 mailles.
A la fin de ce rang vous aurez 14 mailles : 2 mailles avant, entre et apres les pattes.
[Tricoter 6 rangs
Tricoter 1 maille, tricoter 2 mailles ensembles 2 fois, tricoter 4 mailles, tricoter 2 mailles ensembles 2 fois, tricoter la derniere mailles (il reste 10 mailles)
Tricoter 6 rangs]
OU remplacer les instructions entre [] pour faire les bras : monter 7 mailles avant et apres chacune des deux prochaines rangees et tricoter 6 rangs; rabattre 9 mailles au debut des deux prochains rangs et tricoter 4 rangs

OU remplacer les instructions entre [] pour faire les bras : tricoter 4 rangs puis monter 9 mailles au debut de chacun des 2 prochains rangs et tricoter 6 rangs; rabattre 7 mailles au debut de chacun des 2 prochains rangs et tricoter 1 rang
Rabattre 2 mailles, tricoter 4, tourner l'ouvrage, tricoter 4, tourner l'ouvrage, tricoter 4, tourner l'ouvrage… etc… jusqu'a avoir 14 rangs. Rabattre ces 4 mailles et briser le fil.

Cotes endroits se faisant face, coudre les cotes de la tete, les bras (le cas echeant), et les pattes, laissant l'espace entre les pattes ouvert pour rembourer.
Remettre a l'endroit
Coudre les oreilles en fermant un petit triangle de chaque cote de la tete
Broder le visage
Rembourrer
Fermer.
Apprecier.
2 pattes
Monter 8 mailles
Tricoter en point mousse jusqu'a avoir 14 rgs
Rabattre et couper le fil
Repeter 1 fois pour 2 pattes, 3 fois pour bras aussi
Monter 14 mailles
tricoter 6 rgs
Tricoter 1 maille, tricoter 2 mailles ensemble 2 fois, tricoter 4 mailles, tricoter 2 mailles ensemble 2 fois, tricoter 1 maille. (reste 10 mailles)
Tricoter 6 rangs
Rabattre
Plier et coudre les pattes en place[et les bras sortant de chaque cote] selon la photo ci-haut.
Pieces face contre face, coudre autour du corps, de la tete et des pattes, laissant un espace entre les pattes pour rembourrer.
Remettre a l'endroit.
Coudre les oreilles en fermant un petit triangle de chaque cote de la tete
Broder le visage
Rembourrer
Fermer.
Apprecier.
